Eye Pro is an interesting tool which uses several techniques to try and reduce the chance of eye strain when you're using a PC. Looking at a monitor (or any other close-up object, actually) for a very long time can leave your eyes feeling tired, for instance, so the program will prompt you to take regular breaks. Nothing major - just a short break of 8 seconds every 15 minutes, and a longer break of 1 minute every 45 - but that's enough for you to focus on something further away for a while, which could make all the difference.
Eye Pro also provides "screen filters", coloured overlays which appear over your desktop. If there's a lot of bright blue on the screen, for example, the authors say applying the blue filter should neutralise screen glare and make your system more comfortable to view.
